Dear Parent or Guardian,
I am attaching information on Higher Options 2021.
The Irish Times Higher Options offers senior cycle students the opportunity to investigate their choices for further and higher-level study and to look at different career options. Universities, colleges and information bodies are in attendance to meet with students and answer their questions. It offers an unrivaled opportunity for finding out more about third-level study and training in Ireland.
This is a very informative exhibition, and this year is being held virtually. The event will provide an opportunity for senior cycle students to speak to representative from third level institutions in Ireland, the UK and Europe, further and higher education bodies and information organisations. There will be a series of lectures also and this material will be online for 30 days. This will enable students to revisit a topic or career area.
We strongly recommend that all 5th and 6th years attend. They must register online themselves and then they will have access to a wide range of talks and lectures.
They will be allowed to leave on Wednesday 13th October, at 12.20 and make their way home to attend this event.
