What an amazing achievement for our 5th year student Ciara Higgins! Ciara was selected to recite her Poetry Aloud entry poem “Mushrooms” at the Women in Stem Summit 2025 in Croke Park. Ciara joined a host of other guest speakers and performers on the day to deliver to an audience of over 600 people from all areas of industry, educational institutions, government departments and semi-state organisations including leaders, educators, policy-makers, innovators and pioneers. The theme of the session was putting the STEAM back into STEM – how the arts are inextricably linked to technology and science and should be equally valued. Well done Ciara! We are so incredibly proud of you!
