TY Forensic Science

in News, TY News

Our Transition Year students recently had the exciting opportunity to attend a Forensic Science Workshop, where they stepped into the shoes of crime scene investigators for the day.

Through hands-on activities like fingerprint analysis, evidence collection, and crime scene reconstruction, students explored the science behind solving mysteries. The workshop not only sparked curiosity about forensic science but also highlighted the importance of critical thinking and attention to detail — skills that go far beyond the lab.

A huge thank you to the workshop facilitators for delivering such an interactive and eye-opening experience. It’s safe to say our TYs are now thinking twice before touching a crime scene… even if it’s just in the classroom!
