It was very exciting to see our Young Scientists heading into the RDS today to set up their projects for exhibition. Thirteen of our Transition Year students and one Third Year student have qualified to showcase their projects at the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition in the RDS this week. They have worked very hard over the past weeks in compiling their entries and we wish them the best of luck with the exhibition. The TY Year group will attend the exhibition to support their classmates in their venture but also view the entries from other schools, participate in workshops and attend talks from guest speakers.
We would like to thank the Science department, Eimear Maloney as the TY Young Scientist module teacher and Dr. Niamh McNally for the endless hours of work, advice and support they have given to all the entries for the exhibition this year. Also, thank you to all teachers who have accommodate their absence from class to prepare.
