Congratulations to all eleven of our BT Young Scientist finalists. The projects are varied and show great scientific interest and initiative. The students have worked hard on their projects under the guidance of Miss Maloney and the Science Department and we are very proud of them.

Isabella Riordan, Mia Minch and Sophie O’Donnell created an App to help combat the decline of fitness levels due to the drop out of organizes sports by girls during their secondary school years – ‘You go girl- An app for girls by girls’.
Aoife Copeland and Ciara Ahern investigated leaf stomata as an indicator of pollution in their project ‘Climate change isn’t a future problem, it’s a now problem’.
