Our school are participating in Team Hope’s shoebox appeal. Team Hope is an amazing charity who help children affected by poverty around the world. The shoebox appeal gives us an opportunity to send necessities and gifts to vulnerable children in Africa and Eastern Europe.
The shoeboxes are due on Monday, 8th November 2021. If you don’t want to build a box yourself, you can donate online or build an online box at www.teamhope.ie/donate

Do Not Include
Please do not include liquids like shampoo, sharp objects, chocolate, books with lots of words, scary items eg: Halloween themed, war-related or snake related items, breakables or medicines.
How To Build Your Box
- Wrap a regular shoe sized shoebox in colourful paper
- Use the label from your leaflet to decide what gender your box is for and what age group they are in
- Leave your boxes in your form classes.
- Include your €4 donation in an envelope – this money pays for the transport needed
- Close your box with an elastic band (not sellotape)
