Irish Government This Government of Ireland site provides information on the Irish State.

National Archivesholds a wide variety of records relevant to Irish genealogy and local history. The 1911 census for the 32 counties is available here.


American Memory Archive

is a multimedia web site of historical documents, photographs, sound recordings, books, pamphlets, maps, and other resources from the Library of Congress.

A Decade of Centenaries focuses on the many significant centenaries occurring over the period 1912-1916 on the island of Ireland.

History Ireland Magazine is now available to search online. Log in details are available from the librarians.

The Irish Times – The text and digital archive of The Irish Times are available in the library through the school Broadband network.

The Bureau of Military History Collection has a wide range of digitised primary source material for the revolutionary period in Ireland from 1913-1921.
