Camogie Victory – All Ireland Final Here We Come

Today our fantastic Senior Camogie team played their All Ireland semi-final against Banagher, Co. Offaly. The classes ran normally until eleven and then the Beaufort supporters left for Sancta Maria. The girls playing the match were all kitted out and ready to go from the minute the referee blew his whistle and the girls ran their socks off till the very end of the match. The first goal was scored by Holyn and when she scored the Beaufort supporters let out a big roar with all their chants. As soon as the match ended the whole of Beaufort ran onto the pitch and hugged one another. It was a successful day for Beaufort as the Beaufort Senior camogie team were though to the all Ireland final. Go Beaufort!

Congratulations to all our wonderful coaches and parents who train our team. The end score was 2.14-3.06 to Beaufort.
