Last week on October 10th we celebrated World Mental health day in Loreto High School Beaufort. Two programmes being run in the school this year to raise awareness around Mental Health is the Headstrong programme developed by Cycle against suicide and Walk in my shoes run by St.Patrick’s hospital.
Clodagh and Anna attended the Headstrong programme in Dublin Castle earlier this month. As part of the headstrong programme they alongside other TY students will raise awareness throughout the year with a series of activities and events. Loreto High School was fortunate enough to be one of a few schools selected for the Walk in my shoes TY programme that is run by St.Patrick’s hospital. Maeve will be representing our school during the one week TY mental health awareness programme in November.
