Marley Park’s Aviary

Due to the amount of snow that fell over the last couple of days, the weight of the snow has caused the roof of the Aviary in Marley Park, Rathfarnham to collapse and unfortunately a lot of the birds managed to get out. Des, who looks after these birds, has contacted us and really needs your help. Please can we ask people in the surrounding areas to keep an eye out for these distinctive birds. There are cockatiels, budgies, diamond doves, Australian kakariki (yellow bird with a red head) and more.

If anyone happens to come across and manage to catch any of these birds please let us know.

If found, Des can be contacted at 0871447615
