Bee is for Biodiversity Day 🐝🐝🐝 – Green Week πŸ’šβ™»οΈπŸ¦…πŸπŸš΄β€β™€οΈπŸ³

Did you know that bees as a species have been working non-stop for 27 million years? They have Β a job for life when they do start working. Bees can not fly in the rain. AccordingΒ to all known laws of aviation, there is no way that a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyways. Because bees don’t care what humans think is impossible. – these are some of the facts we learned while watching the bee movie today for Biodiversity Day in the hall at lunch time. The school was really buzzing today and well done to everybody for beeing so well dressed. Thanks so much to all our Green Committee for organising such a great week. We learned so much about our environment, how we can help with environmental issues and most importantly where we can improve. Thanks also of course to all the staff for their support, Ms Oβ€˜Donoghue and Mr Carolan for all their encouragement, Brendan and Floyd and most of all thanks to all you students who participated with such enthusiasm in all the events and activies. Weβ€˜ll still be working hard over the coming weeks on our survey, on improving the litter and waste situation in the school and of course teaching and learning more about biodiversity. 🐝 🐝 🐝
