A ‘Beaufair’ Success

On Sunday, March 26th, the fifth year girls held their fundraiser ‘Beaufair,’ in aid of a ‘leg up for Caoimhe.’ The aim of this event was to help raise money for a new prosthetic leg for Caoimhe ,a fifth year student, who lost her leg to cancer last year. The whole class, staff and family members put a huge amount of time into organising the events for the day. We put together a fair with food stalls including crepes, baked goods, burgers and candy floss.

There was a wheel of fortune, a big raffle, an easter egg hunt, a dog show, bouncy castles, live music and lots more! The sun shone for the whole day, and thanks to the support of all the students, their families and friends we reckon that over 700 people turned up on the day. Your generosity and support has raised a whopping € 25,000 . A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE.
