Today we say a sad goodbye to our 3 Korean students who have been a part of the Beaufort Community for the past 5 weeks. Beth, Kyumin and Lara arrived just after Christmas and have endured the rain and the cold to immerse themselves in Irish life. Their superb Maths skills stood out as well as their grasp of the English language. They have played a full part in all school activities even supporting the Beaufort camogie team in some dreadful weather! It seems that while Irish stew didn’t prove popular with the girls, Cadbury’s chocolate did. Their classmates joined in a ceremony to wish them well now that their time in Beaufort has come to an end. With everyone agreeing that they will be missed.
