This morning we had the great privilege to welcome Tomi Reichental to the school to speak to 4th, 5th and 6th Years. Tomi recounted his harrowing yet extraordinary story, from his idyllic early childhood memories in rural Slovakia to the horrors of the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. Tomi spoke about the importance of tolerance and inclusion and emphasised the need for everyone to take a stand and get involved when faced with injustice. We have to say a big “Thank You” to Tomi for taking the time after the talk to sign books and talk with students, it was a very memorable morning.
