On Wednesday the 9th of December, the whole of Transition Year went ice skating in Dundrum with Ms.Larkin, Ms.Dawson and Ms.Taylor. We set off at break time catching the bus to Dundrum. When we got there it was packed as other schools had decided to go ice skating as well, nevertheless we all got our skates on and nervously got on the ice. After a few falls and bumps most of us started to get the hang of it while others thought it best just to stick with using the penguins.
In the last few minutes of the session Ms.Larkin and Ms.Dawson decided to get on the ice, with the help of some of the TYs they managed not to fall. Sadly our session ended but thankfully with no broken limbs.
After ice skating many of us went and get food.
All- round we all found the day very enjoyable! Thanks Ms.Larkin, Ms.Dawson and Ms.Taylor for organising the trip for us.
