Kindness Week

in News

The school council, along with the much appreciated help of Ms Cleary, ran ‘Kindness Week’ from 30th of November to the 4th of December in the school. Using copious amounts of Ms. Cleary’s stationary, we made posters, frames and a kindness tree to decorate the school and filled a jar at reception with suggestions of acts of kindness to carry out. (Which we’re pleased to report needed to be refilled every day!)

Among other activities, sixth years and first years exchanged letters with words of encouragement and advice. The atmosphere of thoughtfulness and helpfulness was palpable around the school and we can’t wait to see everyone carrying it through to the end of the year.

Remember – ‘no act of kindness is ever wasted.
