Lourdes Blog: Day 4

in News

Day fourPope Frances said “Chers jeunes, s’il vous plait, ne regardez pas la vie du balcon, mettez-vous en elle” (Go find a 6th year French student to translate ?! Or Ms Murphy) Archbishop Diarmuid Martin reiterated this message today at our youth mass and appealed to us to keep up the good work.
We all went to the baths and had very different experiences but all agreed it’s a must do when in Lourdes.

Had a picnic and sing-song with our pilgrims and we performed the Galway girl accompanied by Jordan on ukulele.

Had really lovely dinner with Beaufort past pupils and Ms Egan (senior) who’s here too. They are all so lovely and loving it here and we will definitely be back.

What can we say about our torchlit procession? Spectacular! And very moving.

Can’t believe that tomorrow’s our last day and will include a farewell mass.? Thinking of you all. Might never come home.
