This week is SVP awareness week. The junior SVP committee have made posters to hang up all over the school to make people aware of this charity who help people in need, who are close to home. We want to raise awareness about SVP in our school, nationally and internationally and the good work they do.
We also decorated the reception, with blue balloons, streamers and a saying, ‘Everyone needs a helping hand,’ going up the stairs.
The committee also organised a raffle, peer teaching and lollipop selling. We have great prizes such as a mini iPad! All the money goes towards helping those in need.
We hope the week will be a great success.
