The teachers ( Ms Egan, Mr Doyle, Ms O’Neill and Ms O’Reilly) took on a very capable and experienced Sixth Year team ( Eve Conlon, Iseult Mason, Lauren O’Reilly and Ireland’s number one debater – Blánaid Ní Bhraonáin). The motion that ‘this house regrets the use of modern popular culture’ was hotly debated to a full house in the hall at lunch time. Well done to all speakers. The Sixth Years won and Ms O’Neill was awarded ‘Best Speaker’ i’m just waiting for the teachers to send on their selfies…Watch this space…..’ .
