We would all like to thank the girls from Korea who have taught us so much about Korean culture. It has been our pleasure to host you. Ms O’Donoghue presented the girls with certificates and Beaufort teddies at their ‘graduation’ today and she asked them to always keep a little Beaufort in their hearts. Fr Brendan and their teacher Vincent also attended and the girls very generously gifted our school a wonderful print by a Korean artist. The Beaufort students and staff sang ‘Molly Malone’ to the girls because they had visited the Molly Malone statue earlier today. Tomorrow is our last day with them so if you see them don’t forget to wish them well or if you have picked up any Korean from them you will say 안녕.
