The Junior SVP conference had a guest speaker, Deirdre Walsh, the Youth Development Officer for the Dublin region of St. Vincent De Paul today. She was interested to know the work we, as a school conference, do during the year in raising awareness about the work of and fundraising for SVP. Deirdre gave us a PowerPoint on the work she does as The Youth Development officer of SVP in the Dublin region and the work of SVP in the area also. We learnt about new projects that Deirdre and the SVP conference in Dublin and the rest of Ireland are working on. We then presented a PowerPoint to Deirdre outlining the work we have done, are doing and will continue to do for SVP in the future.
