The final figure raised for Rumbek was a fantastic €10,273. Sr Kathleen spoke so well last week about what it means to the pupils in Loreto Rumbek. She explained that the school is growing and the pupils who are graduating have mostly gone on to university and done really well in their school leaving exams. The primary school caters for girls and boys has become very popular with a real demand for places and they hope to build a building for them in the next year. Well done to all who contributed in any way to the walk, by walking, sponsoring, stewarding etc and especially Ms Egan and the Senior Prefects. A fabulous success.
