It’s Maths Week in Beaufort and there will be many numeral activities taking place, including a daily puzzle which you can find right here on the website or on the electronic notice board at reception. All year groups will have a maths quiz as follows:
Monday: Sixth Years
Tuesday: Fifth Years
Wednesday: Third Years
Thursday: Second Years
First Years will be working on numeracy puzzles throughout the week.

Problem 1: One store in the afternoon sold twice as many pears, than it did in the morning. During the whole day they sold 360 kg. pears. How many kilograms of pears are sold in the morning and how many in the afternoon?
