As part of eco-UNESCO’s youth for sustainable development program, two Transition year students, Claudia Russell and Mary Hastings have entered the Young Environmentalist’s Award (YEA) with their group: The YouthTop Gardeners.
For their submission, they created a rooftop garden on the roof of The Greenhouse, the building in which their weekly meetings take place.
The public launch of the garden is taking place in The Greenhouse, St.Andrew’s Street on the 28th of March from 12-2. All are welcome to attend.
