Congratulations to Maeve Walsh (6th year) who has just been announced as Ireland’s winner of the E.U.’s Young Translators competition. Maeve translated a text from Irish to English. She will travel to Brussels in April for an awards ceremony and to meet the E.U. Commissioner for Multi-Linguism.
Well done also to Kathy Mc Grath, Moira O’Connor, Aoife Doolan and Sinéad Harrington who also participated in the competition.
