Last week 4th year students had a visitor from the National Learning Centre to talk about the importance of battery recycling and the important work that WEEE Ireland do in recycling batteries and electrical items. Bill’s presentation was both informative and engaging and he left plenty of battery boxes for us to fill. Don’t forget to start collecting old and used batteries for our annual battery recycling campaign later in the school year. Battery collection boxes are available from Ms Fenton.
