We are in the middle of a hectic Basketball Season. With 14 teams participating this year there are over 160 girls playing basketball. That may well be the highest number participating in any school in the country.
The Senior and Cadette teams are still very much in contention in their leagues. Special Mention to the Senior A’s who made the Irish Quarter Final and the Cadette A Team who are top of both their Loreto and Dublin Leagues.
We have over 50 2nd years and 60 1st years honing their skills for the leagues which start after Xmas. All players are showing great improvement and great potential for the future. Keep up the hard work and training girls!
Congratulations to Julie Milroy who made the Irish U14 squad and best of luck to Jennifer Kirwan and Laura Flynn who are trying out for the Ireland U16 team.
