On Wednesday the 5th of October 2P and 2S went on a History tour to Glendalough. They were accompanied by their History teachers Ms. Byrne and Ms. O’Neill. They visited the Interpretive Centre where they saw a film on St. Kevin and early monastaries in Ireland. Afterwards they viewed the exhibition and filled in questionaires. They were then taken on a guided tour of the monastic site. The students then returned by the old Green Road to the picnic site and finished their picnic lunches in bright sunshine, then they boarded their buses for the return journey. The 2Q and 2T classes will enjoy the same tour next week.
