The school was awash with the colours of the rainbow today as Beaufort students and staff showed their support for our sister school Loreto Rumbek in South Sudan. The whole school were asked to contribute €2 towards a non-uniform day. First Years made fantastic posters, which were exhibited around the school. 2S CSPE made awareness posters and announcements over the intercom. They will send photos and a report of the day to the girls in Rumbek. A group of second years organised and choreographed a dance performance in the hall at lunchtime and attracted a huge crowd. Well done girls.
Thank you to all the students and staff who were actively involved in today’s preparation and of course, a big thank you to the whole school community, who as always contributed so generously and added to the wonderful school spirit of Beaufort.
Thank you to Brendan for going up on the roof to take the photo of the human rainbow on the hockey pitch!
