On the 7th of September five of our sixth year students will travel to Lourdes for the Dublin Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes. The students will work with the sick and those who are unable to look after themselves. School Chaplain, Niamh Donohue will accompany them on this trip. The five students were selected earlier this year from a large group of fifth year students. The first stage was an application form and the second stage was an interview. Those who were successful are: Kate Kirwan, Jenny Ward, Ailbhe Kelly, Eleanor McLaughlin and Ciara O’Neill. This year the pilgrimage to Lourdes will be extra special as the girls who travelled with our Chaplain last year- will travel again this year. All of in us in the Beaufort community are very proud of our girls spreading the message of the Gospel and being committed followers of Mary Ward.
We wish them well as they embark on their pilgrimage.
