A big thank you to the Green Committee, Ms Mackey and Ms Dunne for entertaining us all week during Green Week. The week was jam packed with fun environmental activities and every day had a theme with fun quizzes and (environmentally friendly) prizes. 🙂
- Monday was ENERGY DAY and included an “Energy Treasure Hunt”.
- On Tuesday we had RECYCLING DAY and the Green Committee volunteers gave a workshop on how to make tetra pack wallets
- A big effort was put into  COW and WOW DAY on Wednesday with a raffle for all our cyclists and walkers
- On Thursday there was a super turn out for the tour of the Water Harvester for WATER DAY.
- Finally, Friday was TRANSPORT DAY and we were treated to a showing of fun awareness videos with popcorn and goodies.
We loved Green Week. Thanks for all the organising and effort. We have no doubt that Beaufort deserves another Green Flag after seeing such spirit and enthusiasm  during the week. You left us wanting more……fortunately the Green Committee will be sending us a report soon to keep us updated, so watch this space….
