Congratulations to our Senior 1 Hockey Team, who had a very convincing win against a strong Muckross team earlier today. It was the first league match of the season and the Beaufort girls came out attacking from the whistle. Within 5 minutes Beaufort had dropped two goals in the Muckross net, both goals coming from play. As the half time whistle went Beaufort were leading 3-1. The final goal came towards the end of the match as Beaufort proved that their fitness and training is already paying off.
The Beaufort players were delighted with their win and spoke of how well they played together as a team with great passing and skill. Congratulations to the girls and Ms Campion. Great start to the season!
