First years take some well deserved time out with God

in News

Our first years went on retreat this week to Benildus Pastoral Centre ( 30th Nov- 4th Dec) each class group went on a different day. They experienced a great day of fun, prayer and reflection. The girls were encouraged to reflect on how they are all God’s works of art.

All of the individual classes also reflected on how important the different qualities of friendship are. One girl is quoted in saying, that a group of friends are like a rainbow- rainbows need each colour or it would not be complete, same way as friends need each other to work together. Another girl shared with the group that we started school in August like caterpillars and now we are like butterflies!

What a beautiful image!

Ms.Donohue (school Chaplin) attended the retreat each day, she leads fitness and relaxation techniques at lunchtime!

A great day was had by all.
