Along with over a thousand cities and organisations worldwide, Loreto Beaufort did its part for Car-Free Day.
Pupils of 2T made posters and a large banner in CSPE class which they displayed in reception. They also made announcements over the intercom.
The Green Committee are raising awareness about travel this year. “Last year we were awarded the Water Flag and this year we are going to start trying to get our fourth Green Schools flag – The Travel Flag.” (Green Committee).
Beaufort will take part in International Walk to School Month which is in October. Track and Trainer Day will launch this awareness campaign on the 1st October, so all pupils can wear their school track suit to school that Thursday. The funds raised will go towards the Niall Mellon Trust and new bike sheds for the school. Thank you for your continued support.
