The TY Nightingale class, along with the 3rd years, had a cake to raise funds for Niamh, a little girl with Cerebral Palsy. The cake sale was held on the 22nd November in the supervision room as there were so many cakes brought in. We never thought the cake sale would be such a big event, but to our surprise the supervision room was packed with people eager to buy cakes. Every cake was sold and we raised €2,000.
The week after the cake sale we had an assembly in the hall where we presented the cheque to Niamh and her Father. All 3rd and 4th years attended the assembly. As well as the cheque, niamh was presented with a gift voucher from the school.
Thank you to everyone for supporting the cake sale. It was a great success.
