On behalf of the whole staff I would like to wish you a very Happy Christmas.

The atmosphere in the school is incredibly positive and optimistic as we face into the Christmas season. If society is undergoing terrible upheaval it is not apparent in the cheerful optimism of our students.

The 6th years in particular have been wonderful; organising the many events of the Mental Health Week and the Carol Singing for Matunda, which for many of them involved giving up three free days. To them and the teachers who accompanied them, especially Ms Dunne, we send our congratulations.

The Biometric Finger Photo system, which has had a few inevitable teething problems, is now becoming a valuable part of the school attendance system. We will be getting two extra machines within the next week and that should facilitate the even smoother running of the new system.

Have a very happy Christmas,

Ms. Liz Cogan

Principal
